2025 Fuerteventura Carnival Dates & Themes

The first dates of the 2025 Fuerteventura carnivals have appeared in the past few days.
As all the municipalities of the island publish their Carnival programs, we will update you on this.

But let’s go in order:

Puerto del Rosario

The carnival in Puerto del Rosario will take place from 21 February 2025 to 9 March.
The 4th of March marks Shrove Tuesday.
The citizens of the capital of Fuerteventura have chosen an allegory. They selected “Los juguetes y el mundo animado” (Games and the animated world) as this year’s theme for 2025.

Corralejo Carnival 2025

We finally have the official dates of the Corralejo Carnival.
The allegory will be “La India: el Carnaval del Color” (India: the Carnival of Colors).

The Carnival of Carnivals will be from March 13th to 23rd, 2025

Tetir (Puerto del Rosario Municipality)

The daily Carnival of Tetir already has a date for 2025.
On April 12th in the white village on the hills around the Capital, there will be the traditional White Carnival.
Music and lots of fun and, please, only white clothes.

Antigua

The dates for the carnival in the municipality of Antigua have been finalised since mid-January
The theme of the 2025 Carnival of the Ayuntamiento of Antigua will be “La Selva” (The Jungle)
Antigua will celebrate Carnival 2025 from 19 to 23 February.
Caleta de Fuste will instead be resplendent in the colours of Carnival 2025 from 28 February to 1 March 2025

Pájara

The carnivals of the Municipality of Pajara are scheduled to take place from March 7 to 23, 2025:

• On March 7, there will be the Carnival in La Lajita;
• For Women’s Day, on March 8, the Carnival will be in Pajara;
• Costa Calma will host the Carnival on March 9
• From March 14 to 23, you can enjoy the carnival festivities in Morro Jable;

The theme of the 2025 Carnival of the Municipality of Pajara will be “Epoca Medieval” (medieval era)

Tuineje

The theme of the 2025 Gran Tarajal Carnival will be “El mundo de la televisión” (The World of Television)
The dates for the 2025 Carnival are scheduled for 6 to 16 March 2025.
