It was a black Friday for “problematic” passengers on board according to the news in local newspapers.
Even two flights coming from the United Kingdom had problems with passengers on board who proved to be so annoying that the crew on board had to call the destination airport and alert the local police.
The first flight, of the Easyjet company, came from Manchester to Tenerife South and, due to 8 “problematic” passengers, was even forced to land in Lanzarote.
The second flight, however, came from London towards Fuerteventura.
It seems that the passengers on board created a disturbance by smoking, drinking and harassing passengers and crew.
The airport police at Majorero airport were alerted and intervened upon the arrival of the flight.
The pilots of both flights were encouraged to speed up the approach process to their respective airports to reduce discomfort on board.
The “problematic” passengers certainly did not find a cheerful welcoming committee waiting for them.
We hope that all other passengers can continue their holiday in a better way and hope that we never have to hear news of this kind again.
For the good peace and quiet of all those who come to Fuerteventura and to Canary Islands to enjoy the beauty of the islands and the quiet.
