The Tetir Craft Market returns next Sunday, October 8, with an edition in which a total of 47 producers will participate.
The event, organized by the Tourism Department, has become a meeting space for the culture, tradition, gastronomy and craftsmanship of Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands, where artisans, producers and citizens spend a Sunday morning with activities designed for the whole family.
Two workshops will be held inside the Tetir craft market on 8 October: “Otoñarte” and ‘Tejiendo con papel” (Autumn” and “Weaving with paper”) and a gynkana of games for the little ones.
There will also be the “Veganeando” (“Veganing”) show cooking by the El Invernadero Restaurant, a restaurant in Puerto del Rosario, where a festive version of vegan meat or pork will be offered.
The musical background of the day will be entrusted to the Overheat Music Band, which presents its new format as part of the Artisan Market.
The Tetir craft market usually attracts many visitors, both locals and tourists traveling to the island.
The fact that there are many local producers from whom it is possible to purchase all kinds of products and there are activities to spend time with even as a family, means that this market becomes a way for many to visit a unique place in Fuerteventura, find products of the area and, at the same time, spend a few carefree hours.
The Tetir craft market will take place next Sunday 8 October, from 9.30am to 2.30pm, in the main square of Tetir.
