38th Corralejo Kite Festival: 10-16 November ’25
The 38th Corralejo Kite Festival will return in 2025 from November 10 to 16, inviting kite fans from all over the world to experience this event.
Also Called “Festival de Cometas” in Spanish, has been very popular with international tourists since its inception and continues to captivate them year after year.

Ana Gil & Ad Libitum
Singer and clarinetist Ana Gil performs with a string quintet.
She pays homage to emotions and roots. Ana takes listeners on a journey through the rich sounds of Latin American music.
Argentine chacarera, Peruvian waltz, the lively rhythms of Venezuelan merengue and the zulia dance.
The Ad Libitum concert features popular music.
It highlights beautiful songs by Spanish singer-songwriters.
The show includes the modern style of artists like El Kanka and Pasión Vega.
It also presents the timeless songs of French singer Edith Piaf.

Pablo Sáinz Villegas
Guitarist Pablo Sáinz-Villegas, considered the successor to Andrés Segovia, will perform on January 29.
He will take the stage at the Antigua Auditorium at 8:00 p.m.
His program in Fuerteventura will include works by Villa-Lobos, Bach, Turina, Barrios-Mangoré and Albéniz.

FIMC
The International Music Festival of the Canary Islands (FIMC) returns with the opening of the Gran Canaria Wind Orchestra.
The orchestra will execute a program dedicated to 20th century chamber music for wind instruments. This repertoire promises to fascinate both lovers of classical music. It also enchants those who wish to explore the rich sounds of this genre.

Dunas de Corralejo
On January 24th at 8:30 pm, the Dunas de Corralejo Folk Group will display in the Corralejo auditorium. They will pay tribute to Lenzo del Toro. He was a key figure in Canarian folklore. This event celebrates 20 years of memories, allowing everyone to honor his legacy.

Canary day 2024: all events on Fuerteventura
The Canary Day, also known as “Día de Canarias,” is an annual celebration in the Canary Islands to commemorate the anniversary of the first session of the autonomous Canary Islands Parliament in 1983.
As the Canary Day approaches, each town on Fuerteventura eagerly gears up to host a variety of events.
Traditional Markets
Below you will find a list of markets in Fuerteventura where you can find typical local products or handicrafts and look for a good deal.
We have listed the best known markets, but you can always ask at the hotel, and they will be able to tell you the traditional markets in your area.
La Oliva
In La Oliva every Tuesday and Friday (9.30am-2.30pm) you can find the Mercado de las Tradiciones with local products and farmers from the area.
Tetir
The Tetir market takes place monthly from 9.00am to 2.00 pm near the village church .

- Acua Water Park: Corralejo handmade market items every Tuesday and Friday from 9.00 to 14.00
- Centro Comercial Campanario: Corralejo Traditional market every Thursday and Sunday from 10.00 to 14.00

The market in Costa Calma takes place every Wednesday and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm.
In the Avenida Happag Lloyd.
You will find it in the square between the local police station and the football pitch.
Morro Jable
Every Monday and Thursday from 9:00 to 14:00, the Morro Jable street market in Calle Bentejuy offers a wide range of products, including fresh produce, seafood, handicraftsand clothing.
