The third edition of the Contemporary ( festival Contemporaneo tag) Music Festival will showcase modern music with 17 concerts featuring 7 international, national, and Canarian groups. The Festival will also host a national gathering for discussions on contemporary music in Spain. The Festival will take place in La Palma, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Tenerife, and Gran Canaria, with a highlight concert by Ensemble Difracción & CSMC on September 29th in Fuerteventura. DifrAcción Ensemble focuses on contemporary academic music and promoting sound art from the archipelago and Latin America.
