The Municipality of Puerto del Rosario, through the Beaches Department, is taking proactive measures to ensure the beaches of Los Pozos and Playa Blanca remain pristine and enjoyable for residents and visitors. The upcoming sand screening and cleaning works scheduled for 22 and 23 September, starting from 7.00 pm, represent a dedicated effort to maintain the cleanliness and high standards of these prominent coastal areas.
By conducting the screening at night, the Municipality aims to minimize disruption to beachgoers while enhancing the overall experience for everyone. This thoughtful approach reflects a commitment to preserving the natural beauty of these beaches, as well as ensuring a pleasant environment for all who frequent them.
Mayor David de Vera’s emphasis on the importance of providing clean and waste-free sand underscores the municipality’s dedication to enhancing the well-being of those who enjoy these picturesque coastal locations. Additionally, the insight provided by Councilor for Beaches, ToƱi Fdez. AragĆ³n, further emphasizes the holistic approach being taken to ensure that both residents of Fuerteventura and tourists can fully appreciate and revel in the splendor of the city beaches. These collaborative efforts reinforce the Municipality’s vision for inclusive and sustainable beach management, benefiting both the local community and visitors alike.
